Contested deletion
editThis page should not be speedily deleted because...there is no other Wikipedia article on this person, although that was the reason given for the speedy deletion. If there is such an article, I'd be happy to hear about it, and merge the two, but I searched thoroughly before creating the article and couldn't find one. --NinaGreen (talk) 02:23, 8 March 2013 (UTC)
- Just to clarify further, the link on the speedy deletion message goes to a different Sir William Drury, who died in 1579. This article is about the Sir William Drury who died in 1558. NinaGreen (talk) 02:39, 8 March 2013 (UTC)
- Apologies for the deletion message. The page is correct. The link provided in the deletion message is to a different William Drury. smileguy91talk 02:53, 8 March 2013 (UTC)

ownership of the Ellesmere Chaucer
editDrury names appear on the Chaucer ms, but the article does not say that Drury owned it.--Wetman (talk) 16:15, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
