Dr. William Donkin → William Donkin – per naming convention (we don't use academic titles in article names – bender235 (talk) 12:48, 25 May 2014 (UTC) This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 15:21, 25 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

I agree it should be moved. But I do not know how else to disambiguate this William Donkin from the other. He did not use any middle name. Dazedbythebell (talk) 19:28, 25 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
One way might be to move this article to William Donkin, and then place "This article is about the disciple of Meher Baba. For the astronomer see William Fishburn Donkin" at the top. Dazedbythebell (talk) 20:10, 25 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • Support move to "William Donkin (medical doctor)" or something similar. "William Donkin" should stay the disambiguation page. Coreyemotela (talk) 20:20, 25 May 2014 (UTC).Reply
After thinking about it, "William Donkin (medical doctor)" is about as good as we are going to find. I would agree to move it there. Do we have to wait the seven days for agreement if there is no argument? Dazedbythebell (talk) 21:38, 25 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
I agree with Xoloz. Physician is more concise and equally precise. Dazedbythebell (talk) 18:22, 28 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
