Ambassador to Russia? edit
The List of British ambassadors to Russia has him as ambassador 1805-06, but there seems to be no room in his bio for that, and the Granville Leveson-Gower, 1st Earl Granville bio has him as ambassador 1804-07. What gives? Languagehat (talk) 18:29, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
- OK, I discovered Granville had two separate terms and corrected his entry accordingly, but I still can't find confirmation that Cathcart had the job. Languagehat (talk) 16:08, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
