Renaming Dates edit

During the service on the morning of Tanganyikan independence, 9 Dec 1961, it was announced that the Diocese of Zanzibar was to be renamed to the Diocese of Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam. -- Mndolwa, William Fabian (November 2012). From the wording here it appears that the change may have taken a little time.
This crossreferences with this entry which indicates that Z&DES was from 1963.
The resolution for Dar es Salaam to separate (effected in 1965)was taken in July 1964 per this
