Why does the article say "Willdan Group was a company" instead of "Willdan Group is a company"?

As far as I know the company is still in existence.

A detailed paragraph on litigation was added by an unnamed user whose IP address was later blocked. The original text about the company's 50 year history was very concise, so the added paragraph seemed disproportionate in context.CWongL (talk) 23:01, 15 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
