Lamar University uses the same melody for their "Big Red" fight song; they claim that their band director wrote the music in 1962. Can anyone shed any light on this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.178.173.118 (talk) 01:29, 24 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

The lyrics to this song should be shown on the page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.40.37.171 (talk) 18:00, 17 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
No, they shouldn't. Please read WP:NOT#LYRICS. It was written in 1927, four years after 1923, so it s likely it is NOT in the public domain. If you continue to revert it, you will be reported for edit-warring. 🍀 Corkythehornetfan 🍀 18:05, 17 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
