Wii Motor Sports?

Any reference to the term "Wii Series"?

- "Wii Series" is an unofficial name for a group of games starting with the word "Wii" that are clearly part of a series, much like Wars (series) --Yair rand (talk) 01:10, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
Wii Chess inclusion
Could Wii Chess really be considered a true installment of the so-called Wii Series? Its presence seems contrary to what the other games are trying to demonstrate (ie the kind of gameplay possible using the Wii Remote), and its not even called Wii Chess in Japan. I agree with Misterkillboy, Wii Chess shouldn't be included in the Wii series. Other than having Wii in the name, it bears no similarities to the others (Miis, new gameplay possibilities with Wii Remote/Wii Balance Board/Wii MotionPlus) and isn't even recognized by Nintendo and their reps as part of the series.
Well I believe it should at least have some mention here about Wii Chess that even though having Wii in it's name, is called different in Japan and is not considred part of the Wii series. So yeah, at least a mention. --VitasV (talk) 06:11, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
Wii Series
A few comments on this article:
- I don't find any reference to "Wii Series" in nintendo.com. Why?
- What is the difference between a Wii Series and a Wii game?
- If Wii Series are collections of Wii games then why do you have a section entitled List of games? Should this not be a list of series such as Guitar Hero, Simple 2000, Simple Wii, Tiger Woods PGA... etc?
- If this article is notable, why is the series not a column in List of Wii games?
- Why is it that *none* of your references include the words "Wii Series" ?
