Talk:Wiener's Tauberian theorem

Latest comment: 5 years ago by Trnrisis in topic Applications?

K. Yoshida, Functional Analysis.

edit

The book K. Yoshida, Functional Analysis. is referenced as containing this result. I have looked at the book and I have been unable to find where in the book the theorem is stated. That is to say it is not easily locatable from then index or contents. Can someone give a page, chapter or theorem number reference? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 222.154.168.103 (talk) 01:05, 26 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Applications?

edit

I thought it might be good to add some applications of this theorem to make it more concrete. I know it is connected to the prime number theorem (this is discussed in the article by Wiener and also in "Divergent Series" by G.H. Hardy) and I thought of adding that, but then I thought there is a probably a broader range of topics that Wiener's theorem fits into. Would someone who knows more about the Wiener Tauberian theorem like to add a section on its applications? Trnrisis (talk) 22:09, 24 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
