Cleanup
editArticle needs cleanup. See WP:CONTEXT regarding linking to things that don't exist. Also the writing needs cleanup. Things like "Embleton painstakingly painted.." and "and great care was given..." these are subjective. Don't draw conclusions for the reader. "sometimes gratuitous appearances" gratuitous to who?--Crossmr 16:52, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
Whatever happened to Frederic Mullally? What did Ron Embleton die of?172.192.218.15
- Whatever happened to Frederic Mullally? - AFAIK he's still around alive and well as-of April 2011. His son Michael has a website with some pictures of Wanda that can be found here: [1] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.112.68.219 (talk) 22:41, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
There's more wrong with it than that. The article states that Embleton painted WW in oils. I possess two of the original artworks and they are in opaque watercolour or gouache. Maybe he did some of them in oils, not mine, though. The price for original works is quoted as "$1500 t0 $3500" on eBay, yet I can find no record of any Embleton being sold on eBay. The largest dealer in Embleton's work - The Book Palace in London, UK - is not mentioned at all. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.128.10.180 (talk) 14:44, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Here's a link to Ron Embleton's page at the Book Palace. At the bottom there's some original article from Wicked Wanda, which is indeed in watercolour. I'll stick that in the article. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 00:11, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
