Chi l'ha vista morire? → Who Saw Her Die? – In an undiscussed move [11:32, 4 May 2016], this film's English title, Who Saw Her Die? was moved to its Italian form. The article was created by User:Lugnuts on 31 August 2008 and remained under its English title for eight years. Who Saw Her Die? is the only title by which this feature is known to the public in the English-speaking world ([1], [2], [3], [4], [5]) and its main header should be returned to the English-language form.     Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 23:39, 15 July 2018 (UTC)

• Oppose: Looking at the sources used for the article, the original title is the one most commonly used in reliable sources, which points to common usage being the original rather than the translation. Sites selling a modern DVD--and the reviews thereof--are a poor reflection of this. GRAPPLE ^X 10:25, 16 July 2018 (UTC)
• Comment: I'm a little torn on these ones. Who Saw Her Die? would be logical go to name as its in English, and most fans of these types of films refer to them by their English names. However, as Grapple pointed out, it seems to not have been widely distribute under this title, but there is little evidence int he article this got release in English theatrically at all. I'm ok with leaving it under this title for now, unless we can scout out some theatrical release in English as Who Saw Her Die?. Andrzejbanas (talk) 12:21, 16 July 2018 (UTC)

  The first line of that page reads "The title of an article should generally use the version of the name of the subject which is most common in the English language, as you would find it in reliable sources", however, which would indicate retaining the original title. • Comment. Users and editors who make interwiki comparisons, may take note that this film has an entry in seven other Wikipedias — German, Spanish, French, Italian, Lithuanian, Polish and Russian. • Support There isn't really that much to go by, but an examination of Google Books would seem to favor the English-language title: 230 hits for Chi l'ha vista morire and 1400 hits for Who Saw Her Die? I actually own the Anchor Bay DVD of this and that version also uses the English title. Betty Logan (talk) 04:53, 17 July 2018 (UTC)
• Support a move back to the English title. With a Google Book "score" of 1400 to 230 you should think this was a no-brainer. But look what happens, when we make a time-restricted search (1/1/1972–5/4/2016):
  17 hits on "who saw her die" lazenby
  19 hits on "Chi l'ha vista morire" lazenby
  Google Scholar (not time-restricted) returns
  8 hits on "who saw her die" lazenby, and
  7 hits on "Chi l'ha vista morire" lazenby.
  I would be interested to hear, if other editors get numerically different results.
  When we have what virtually is a tie, then I'm inclined to say the film should be at the English title. Sam Sailor 06:34, 17 July 2018 (UTC)

  I get the same numbers as you, except when I limit the search to English-language sources the number of hits for Chi l'ha vista morire comes to 9 hits. In truth the film does not have that much coverage, but given the fact that a books search still slightly favors the English title (in English books) and it is distributed under the English title then that is still my preference.
