Question raised not answered! edit

This article does not answer the question it raises... "Who Controls the Internet?" but instead goes off in a tangent over the history of the Internet! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.228.108.236 (talk) 16:46, 3 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Initial comments edit

This is a good article that well explains the concepts in the book, I don't see what further references are required? 141.155.169.21 (talk) 09:07, 19 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

It seems to me that there's an unacceptable level of the author's viewpoint/opinion intruding on the explanations. Anyone who presents the RIAA/Kazaa fight as a victory for good Internet regulation, without noting the considerable amount of dissenting opinion, is not espousing an NPOV. Added the Template:POV-check, as I believe all sections except the first are questionable, especially the last. ALloydFlanagan (talk) 01:14, 2 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

There has been no action on the POV-check request since it was added almost three years ago now. I made a few changes to the article, added a second review and reworded the initial review to use different quotes with little or no editorial comment added. We need to remember that it is the article that should have a neutral POV and not the book that the article is reviewing. I've removed the POV-check template. I am the co-author of this book. As it stands it seems relatively fair and I like the pictures. Jack may feel differently. If there are any questions post here and I can answer Superwuster (talk) 21:46, 30 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
