scores of redirections where either merger or deletion should have been requested

edit

Alan Liefting, in just one of seemingly countless examples (I have only gone back a few weeks), has effectively deleted this article without going through the correct procedure. Instead he just redirected elsewhere. This he did without merging in the material lost here. Please, Mr Liefting, follow either the correct deletion or the correct merger procedure. This geographical feature is not mentioned at all in the article to which you re-direct except as a link back here. The info here is thus lost by your redirect. Stop tearing pages out of our encyclopedia. Sure, improvement here or a merger is required. But that is not what you did. Please contribute to our encyclopedia, stop destroying it.
