Can someone please put a write-up about the actual skiing conditions at the mountain, I could post information but my post would be inherently bias.Tjb891 01:18, 25 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Skiing edit

Oh, man - I love skiing at Whiteface. I love to make wicked short turns down the steep slopes to impress my friends and some girls. One day, I went flying down Mountain Run and went RIGHT by this guy who was skiing in jeans! I said, "see you later, chump!" My friends then said, "man, you are REALLY good at skiing!" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.226.78.94 (talk) 01:29, 17 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Split article edit

This really should be two separate articles. One for the mountain; one for the ski resort.

Antique 10 year prewar climate box edit

Why is the record period 30s and 40s, while the current weather station 'has been observing since 194x'. Also the February 2023 North American cold wave purported all time record low and wind chill of -39 or -40 F/C, and -91 F wind chill, are for what normals period? The first weather station was established in 1937 by New York University and RPI. The data in the article was recorded by this program. Current measurements are made by the University at Albany’s Atmospheric Sciences Research Center, which began year-round observations in 1969-1970. Source Data from these observations does not appear to be reported to NOAA. The NRCC only records data from 1937 to 1946. Rocfan275 (talk) 17:08, 17 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
