White-footed rabbit-ratWhite-footed rabbit rat – Sources have both spellings since they are minor variants. However, the unhyphenated spelling of "rabbit rat" predominates on other Wikipedia pages, such as Conilurus, Brush-tailed rabbit rat, and Conilurus capricornensis. Using the same spelling of "rabbit rat" across Wikipedia isn't strictly necessary, but it seems more polished and professional. Columbianmammoth (talk) 01:43, 9 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

  • Support: a Google Scholar search reveals both to be used fairly equally, so might as well do this for consistency. YorkshireExpat (talk) 20:24, 9 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • Support per consistency with normal English punctuation, too. Dicklyon (talk) 03:53, 12 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
