The article, such as it is, treats the animal only as a pet and therefore estimulates its illegal poaching,trapping and eventual extinction in the wild. I believe all entries dealing with wild animals should contain information about whether or not their capture in the wild is forbidden, as well as detailed information, whenever possible, on international regulations on their trading abroad (e.g. CITES).
