Interesting. Where's the discussion? What exactly is wrong? <KF> 01:37, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
Cleanup
editI know what the tag must have been talking about, if the article looked then like it does now. It is not wikified, disorganized, improperly formatted, and confusing to read.-Dmz5*Edits**Talk* 07:24, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
I read this novel 40+ years ago and I was struck by the phrase by Sammy "Fair? What kind of sissy word is fair?". It should be in the article. Sorry I am new to Wikipedia and hope that someone knowledgeable will integrate it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.192.215.167 (talk) 07:57, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
What Award?
editI have removed the sentence, "The book won the National Critics' Choice award for Best First Novel of the Year." from this article. First, I can find no record of this book ever having won any award, and anyway, the National Critics' Choice award is a movie award. If anyone can find verification that WMSR won a prize, by all means put it in.
I also must agree with Dmz5 that the plot synopsis of this article is atrocious by any standard. Help is desperately needed. Seduisant 15:54, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Plot summary
editI've trimmed the plot summary considerably, reducing it in length from about 1400 words to 800. --Tony Sidaway 18:04, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
