Comments edit
"composed of cells that originate in the original egg and sperm of conception" is an unnececessarily complicated and confusing way to say "fetal cells not maternal cells". It is also inaccurate since the next sentence says it's mostly polysaccharides. I'm fixing this for clarity and accuracy. Xenobiologista (talk) 17:22, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
Possible Improvements edit
In the beginning of the post, it is mentioned that Wharton's jelly is found in both the umbilical cord and vitreous humor, but only its role in the umbilical cord is elaborated upon later in the passage. It may be helpful to include more specific details about the role of Wharton's jelly in vitreous humor as another subheading in the article. Rglastet (talk) 22:09, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
