Talk:Westminster v Charterhouse, 1794

Title edit

Cricket was being played at Eton College and Winchester College before 1650. There is a reference to cricket at St Paul's School, London about 1665 concerning John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough and a reference to Westminster School a little later. Therefore, the original title of this article was misleading and I've moved it to Westminster v. Charterhouse, 1794 which is broadly in line with titles used for other individual matches. It appears that the match is the earliest school match for which a scorecard has survived and that needs to be made clear in the lead. ----Jack | talk page 12:50, 3 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
