Westlothiana was demonstrated by Ruda et. al. (2003) to be related to Lepospondyli, with the two groups forming a clade sister to Amniota. Their study retains Westlothiana within Reptiliomorpha. Therefore, update the Westlothiana page.

The original text of this article, created April 30, 2006, is an exact duplicate of the text at http://www.ppne.co.uk/index.php?m=show&id=16387, which, however, is dated June 1, 2006. It is therefore appears that this WP entry was created first. I would look into this more, but the ppne.co.uk site is responding slowly, if at all, right now. -- Donald Albury 12:57, 22 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
