USGS Photo edit

The Upland Chorus Frog (the species in the photo), was once a subspecies of Psuedacris triseriata, being Pseudacris triseriata feriarum, but it has since been granted full species status as Pseudacris feriarum. Though, as with most taxonomy issues, sources disagree, so I'm not sure whether the photo should be here or only on Upland Chorus Frog. -Dawson 17:43, 3 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I put the photo in the taxobox because the image was labelled Pseudacris triseriata, however if it is the Upland Chorus Frog then it should only be on that page, so I'll take it out of this article.-Tnarg 12345 23:24, 3 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Misidentification? edit

Is the purported photo of P. triseriata at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Pseudacris_triseriata_Wied.jpg truly P. triseriata? It looks like Rana sylvatica to me, but I am not an expert. FinnHK (talk) 22:08, 8 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Yes, the identification on the second picture is incorrect. It is a wood frog pictured, not a western chorus frog. You can immediately dismiss it as a chorus frog because of the lack of toe pads. I hope you are able to correct this. Thanks. Jason Bracken
