New Lynn Rail Trench edit

As of Monday 10 March 2008, the New Lynn Train Station has been relocated to a temporary platform some 20m east of the old (now disused) platfrom in Totara Avenue, immediately adjacent to the New Lynn Bus Station. This new platform is directly across Totara Avenue from Lynnmall Shopping Mall, accessed by pedestrians across temporary metal ramps over the old track. The advanced state of progress gives the impression that building the New Lynn Rail Trench is poised to start in 2008, rather than 2009 as stated. 125.238.157.186 (talk) 09:27, 22 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
