Comments:

• Captions in sentences require full stops, see WP:CAPTIONS.
• Where possible, treat years as a parenthetical, which requires a comma after it, see comma.
• "Passenger trains generally served the station only on weekdays, although between 1903 and 1922 trains also ran on Sundays.[17] Although..." - Recast to eliminate double "although".
• Notes, references and further reading need to be presented as headings, see WP:LAYOUT and MOS:APPENDIX.

Summary: There are a few minor issues that need to be rectified as listed above. Other than that, this article is close to GA standards. I will put the article On Hold for up to seven days, in which time I hope that these issues can be resolved.

Didn't we have this conversation last week? Full sentences in captions have full stops; sentence fragments do not, according to the MOS, and these are the latter.

I've split "further reading" to its own level 2 header. Regarding "References" needing its own header, I think you're misunderstanding WP:LAYOUT; the "Notes and references" section is the header as mandated by WP:LAYOUT, while "notes", "references" and "bibliography" are subsections within it and don't need their own header. This is absolutely standard layout at FA level; see Chelsea Bridge, Alice Ayres, Postman's Park, Bruce Castle… – iridescent 09:56, 20 April 2010 (UTC)
