HELP PLEASE

I am way over my head not for the fact's that are printed as I have quoted the 2 best and most know people. It's just getting it into a form you can live with. I have done mt best to keep this to the fact's Now to prove that, I have to get the information again and it's been ordered. so my problem is with the format that it will go in. Please help me get this the way you want it.Andy2159 (talk) 11:45, 11 February 2011 (UTC)

I think the first thing that you will want to do is to find and cite the resources to back up your claims of fact. If you say something like, "Today the West Point cadet officer is the only person in the Army who wears a sword and sash, the sole guardian of the tradition", you then need to locate a source (book, magazine, newspaper, etc) that says that. Once you find it, click "EDIT" to edit the page, put your cursor at the end of the statement and then click the Cite link in the editing window. You'll find that there are several templates that you can use that are simple, fill in the blank forms. You have resources at the bottom of the page, what this will do is to guide the reader to the 3d party source that you used to get the information. I've done one in the second paragraph.
I've mentioned to you before, though, that you really, really, really would benefit from reading up on Help pages and, in particular, How and why to cite sources. The help pages are very clear, easy to follow, and will help you build the article. :) Wikipelli Talk 14:28, 11 February 2011 (UTC)
