In my opinion two totally different concepts that have a similar name for historic reasons. There are several stratigraphic units that have Wenlock in their name (http://www.bgs.ac.uk/Lexicon/lex_list.cfm?desc=wenlock&pub=%25&map=&status=%25&age=%25&SUBMIT=Submit+Query). But Wenlock (Silurian) is about all rocks that were deposited during that time and not just a few units in England. The article for the time can be expanded with evolutionary and climatic information. The stratigraphic units can be expanded to include sedimentological information. --Tobias1984 (talk) 17:41, 27 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
