Peter Pan was first published in 1894, before the advent of the Edwardian period. Why is Wendy an "Edwardian schoolgirl"? 24.250.140.36 00:38, 30 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Perhaps because the play didn't actually debut until 1904, and the book wasn't published until 1911. :) - JasonAQuest (talk) 21:08, 7 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'd like to argue against Wendy being an Edwardian schoolgirl in the Disney film....given that she is a young woman when she has Jane and Danny in the sequel film, and given that the second film is set unequivocally during the Blitz, it seems that Disney has moved the time of the first film to probably the early 1920s, as there is no indications of a war going on during the first film.
