The section about who invented the Wells turbine seems to be wrong. According to McCormick (Ocean wave energy conversion, 1981), the turbine was described in 1978 by Whittaker and Wells. Klinteberg (talk) 08:02, 20 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Does anyone know what the units are here for the efficiency?? i.e. is is about 0.7% or is it 0.7 i.e. about 70%. My understanding is the efficiency is pretty low, aroud the 1% mark, but I'm no Welles turbine expert.
