Review

First of all I wanted to say, I just love Cuomo and his songs.:)

Lead

• Weezer, also known as The Green Album --> I think its best to establish here why its called green album
• and only, Weezer album --> Remove the comma
• debuting at number four in the US and number two in Canada --> If you are linking Billboard 200, why not link Canadian Albums Chart for Canada?
• For the links for Norway and Sweden, please add their respective chart providers, so that there is a consistency.
• charting on seven different charts, but it helped to transition Weezer into the early 2000s --> Rephrase, does not make any sense.

Background

• Following the commercial and critical failure of Pinkerton --> Add the year in braces, after Pinkerton.
• During this time, Cuomo played with a different rotation of musicians in a band called Homie, which was based in Boston --> Wrong usage, "During this time, Cuomo played with a different group musicians in a band called Homie, which was based in Boston"
• becoming very estranged from the band --> Remove "very"
• On April 8, 1998, Matt Sharp announced --> Remove "Matt"
• decline in rehearsals, and, in late fall of 1998 --> Don't use such terms like early/late fall, per WP:SEASON.
• Rivers Cuomo went into a period of admitted depression --> Join with the previous sentence, as "who went into a period..."
• and Mikey Welsh toured with --> How many times will you repeat the full name?
• Brian Bell would occasionally visit Cuomo --> same issue
• The internet was helping to boost the --> join with previous sentence
• The festival served as a catalyst for Weezer's productivity, and from April to May 2000, the band rehearsed and demoed new songs in Los Angeles.[citation needed] --> Immediately replace the tag please..... not acceptable at all

Release

• A rearrangement is necessary. Chart performance and critical response are all part of the reception for the album, so move those two sections together. The release can be re-titled to Release and promotion as the singles actually promote the album.
• album has sold 1,600,000 copies. ---> Overdue, simple would be 1.6 million copies with the non-breaking space in between 1.6 and million.

Chart performance.

• Unnecessary paragraphing. Combine USA and Canada, same territories.

Singles

• peaking at #2 on the US Modern Rock Charts ---> number two. Please correct this MOS throughout the section.
• "Pot Song of the Year." --> quotes b4 fullstop

Critical reception

• Check the alphabetization of Review scores in the side table. Rolling Stone should be after Q.
• bluntly declared? Sorry but this is OR on a professional writer's comments.
• from NME was --> NME is italicized

Tracklisting

• Collapse the bonus tracks for a better visual feel.

Charts

• Em-dash in the singles table for non-charted regions.
• In the certification table you have two links Music recording sales certifications and List of music recording sales certifications. Both are redirecxts. The correct article is only List of music recording certifications. So only the Certifications title should be in the second column. Check Like a Virgin for further clarification.

References

• Please replace teh normal dashes in teh reference titles to en-dashes.

Yes it is close, just the only thing left left for you to do is check the italicization of the online sources vs. the printed media. Like in your references, Australian Recording Industry Association is not supposed to appear as italicized. Check this for all online sources. Conversely, printed media like Billboard, Rolling Stone etc is supposed to appear as italicized. — Legolas ^(talk2me) 09:15, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
