Webb's City is definitely notable in the history of American retailing, if for nothing else than Doc Webb was credited with the invention of the "express lane".

Webb's City was mentioned in pop culture magazines of the day, such as Life, Colliers and Holiday.

Page merge

edit

I've merged this with a separate page that also covered the town, as it didn't really make sense to have two separate pages for the one town, especially given the size of the original article. ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 14:44, 28 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Flag removal

edit

I removed a flag on this article today. It appears that the issue was corrected. I am very familiar with Webb's city, my mother was employed as a grocery checkout girl there and remember visiting there as a child. If additional citations are needed, feel free to contact, I would be happy to help. This was a small part of the areas history and I would hate to see it removed from Wikipedia.
