Fair use rationale for Image:Weliketoparty.jpg edit

Image:Weliketoparty.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Dubious edit

Changes by Danwales alter the sequence between this and Up & Down. I can't find a source for their release dates, but they definitely didn't hit the UK singles chart that way:

There's also no sign of WLtP while U&D is in the charts at #9, 1998-12-11 or #18, 1999-01-10. Looks to me like WLtP was released in March. MarkSteward (talk) 23:21, 4 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Requested move 5 April 2023 edit

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

The result of the move request was: not moved. Consensus among participants that the exclamation point is not sufficient to disambiguate the song from other similarly titled articles. Some participants supported the alternate title We Like to Party! (The Vengabus) as WP:NATURAL disambiguation, but this title did not attract significant support, so I don't see consensus for making that change either. We Like to Party! (Vengaboys song)We Like to Party! – The fact that "We Like to Party!" redirects to "We Like to Party! (Vengaboys song)" may be inappropriate. If moved, then a hatnote will be produced above the text saying:

  • Oppose. An exclamation mark, which may or may not be added, is not sufficient disambiguation. Redirect We Like to Party! to We Like to Party. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:05, 5 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose. Exactly, an exclamation mark, which may or may not be added, is not sufficient disambiguation. Redirect We Like to Party! to We Like to Party. In ictu oculi (talk) 14:15, 5 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • Move to We Like to Party! (The Vengabus). This is the actual name of the release. While various sources shorten the title to "We Like to Party!" or "We Like to Party", I prefer the WP:NATURAL option. Note that there was a previous RM in 2014, and that the exclamation mark was added without discussion in 2019. 162 etc. (talk) 17:47, 5 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose. For the proposed options, the current title is more informative. Javan009 (talk) 19:57, 6 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose: An exclamation point is not enough disambiguation, but it should stay in the title. Furthermore, in response to 162 etc.'s comment above, the song is titled "We Like to Party!" on the original Dutch release of Up & Down – The Party Album ([1])—"The Vengabus" added for the single release, which came out about a month after the album. It's best to retain the original title. ResPM (T🔈🎵C) 20:23, 6 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose per above, but support We Like to Party! (The Vengabus) upon English CD releases in the track listings section. Also the Dutch Wikipedia (the band's home version) titles it that way as well. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 22:24, 6 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
