We need to bring Wayne Messmer back to Chicago Blackhawks hockey.
I still remember my first game at the old Chicago Stadium. I stood for the National anthem and when Wayne started the entire place erupted in a jubilant cheer that just "rocked the house". At first I thought, how disrespectful. Then you get caught up in the emotions and you start cheering as well.
I attend Chicago Wolves games every year. One because I'm a huge hockey fan. Two - because I can once again hear Wayne and his wife Kathleen sing. The way they sing it just brings chills to my entire body.
The Chicago Blackhawks have made many changes this year. They need to make one more - bring back Wayne Messmer.
