I created the Water Fluoridation Article entry to be a encyclopedia entry about the water fluoridation chemical that is used to fluoridate the municipal water in some cities in the United States of America. This article is only about the water fluoridation chemical only and not about the practice of water fluoridation.
The following study from PubMed says that Silicofluorides (SiFs), fluosilicic acid (FSA) and sodium fluosilicate (NaFSA), are used to fluoridate over 90% of US fluoridated municipal water supplies.

They aren't adding fluoride to the water. They use hydrofluosilicic acid. This is raw untreated hazardous waste from the phosphate fertilizer mining industry pollution scrubber system that is highly contaminated with arsenic, lead and a whole host of other heavy metals.
