I think this article name should be edited (or even changed). Since WSIPC is an acronym, it should either read as WSIPC (not Wsipc as it is currently), or the the name should be changed to reflect the entire name verbatim. — Preceding unsigned comment added by WSIPC (talkcontribs) 19:18, 18 December 2014‎

The name of this article is already "Washington School Information Processing Cooperative" - where are you seeing it as "Wsipc"? --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 22:27, 18 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Mission Statement edit

I read the article about mission statements and I'm uncertain as to whether the mission statement on this page is necessary or not. At first glance, it doesn't seem promotional to me, but I'd like a secondary opinion about it, since the only reference to it, currently, is the official company website--GreatMink67 (talk) 19:08, 4 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia is not intended to serve as free webhost for information, that should be hosted on the organization's own website (including mission statements, product and partner lists, and other overly detailed internal information) - see also WP:NOTDIRECTORY. Information about a topic should only include a dispassionate succinct description based on reliable 3rd-party sources, not on self-promotional PR declarations. A mission statement, by its very nature, includes no encyclopedic information. GermanJoe (talk) 01:35, 9 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
