Correct date of birth edit

Season 8 episode 10, Mandy runs a print and Warrick's data pops up, showing his DOB as October 10, 1971.

Semi-vandalism edit

The page currently contains this line WARRICK BROWN IS DEAD! PLEASE CHANGE THE INFO BOX TO SAY DECEASED AND ErASE SEASON 9 at the top of it. Whether it's true or not, that doesn't belong there. I'm deleting it. CheshiresMasquerade (talk) 22:50, 30 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

College? edit

Did this character go to college at all? This article does not go into detail about how did he become a crime scene investigator.

Shooter? edit

Which character shot Warrick in the 8th season finale? (67.191.209.32 (talk) 02:14, 16 May 2008 (UTC))Reply

It was Undersheriff McKeen. --Max (talk) 21:02, 20 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Dead? edit

As a not so minor point, we know Warrick's been shot, and presumably is dead, but that hasn't been proven yet (or, if it has, it needs to be sourced). Also, CSI does not normally take place in real time, so I removed the death date, since it's unlikely to be the airdate of the episode. Samer (talk) 14:42, 16 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • Oh my god. I can't believe he died. :( -62.31.71.203 (talk) 23:53, 16 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
    • Agreed. This shouldn't be that strong...we don't know if he's dead or not. There's the point of Nick still being in the bar at the end of the episode. Sirkan (talk) 01:13, 19 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'll repeat this point: there are currently no published reports confirming Warrick is dead. AFAIK, the producers have not ruled out the possibility of Brown's character making appearances in season 9 (though given his legal troubles, I rather doubt it). Moreover, the date of his death would not simply be the date of the episode; CSI episodes are not set in real time. Samer (talk) 13:46, 19 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

      • He was written out of the show as per creative differences with the producers, as per aussiello report. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.137.71.12 (talk) 15:00, 20 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
Yes, but maybe they'll do a weird spin off like Warrick falls on a coma for a couple of month and afterwards decides that he no longer wants to live in Vegas or whatever and moves away. The same happened at the end of last season with Sara Sidle, Ausiello said that she would DIE at the premiere of season 8 but she didn't, so Ausiello is not really the best of sources. Although Warrick probably does die.--Yamanbaiia(free hugs!) 15:13, 20 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
  • There have been various reports of the producers and Dourdan having worked out their differences and Dourdan returning to the show. So let's not declare him dead just yet.

Counting Cards edit

The article incorrectly states that counting cards is illegal (the show's writers may have screwed up). Though it is frowned upon in casinos, it is not a crime. Shawn Crapo (talk) 19:13, 31 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Date of death edit

I just watched the episode in which he was shot. Assuming he dies (and as noted above we don't know that he is; see Law & Order for an example in which Paul Sorvino's character was written out by having him shot but he didn't die) I don't recall a calendar date being mentioned in the episode. Where did the date of death come from? Or is it just speculation? 68.146.25.241 (talk) 18:12, 4 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
