In the Beginning

edit

I have started this article. I put in a set of preliminary categories I believe can be filled in. There are plenty of accomplishments in athletics recently to fill up that section alone. The only section I am having problem with is the alumni section. I can only think of 1 or 2 people who might actually be known by people and even those are not that famous. I hope someone can provide help with that especially. -Thebdj 06:34, 12 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Famous Alumni

edit

Please keep this reasonable. There are already a few entries that are pretty questionable, but adding a current principal, a retired principal, and some "suit" isn't exactly matching what I would call "famous alumni." -Thebdj 03:59, 19 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

The usual standard for being notable on Wikipedia is to have a page on Wikipedia, so I've removed the following names as well:

  • Lonnell DeWalt (2004), former University of Kentucky football player
  • SeSe Helm (2001), former University of Kentucky women's basketball player
  • Damon Hood (1990), former University of Kentucky football player and 1990 Kentucky Mr. Football
  • Clemette Haskins (1983), former Western Kentucky University basketball player and 3-time All-American, former head women's basketball coach at University of Dayton, member of Kentucky Athletic Hall of Fame

Fair use rationale for Image:WCHS Ky Crest.gif

edit

Image:WCHS Ky Crest.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
