editHis choice may have decided the way China went after Mao, so he needs to be listed. Someone else will need to add extra details, including how you write his name in Chinese.--GwydionM 16:46, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
Still alive?
editI found a document [1] from 1999 referring to "the late Wang Dongxing". --GwydionM 20:11, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
- He is one of the very few pre-Tiananmen era national leaders still alive today (as of Dec. 2008), the others being Wan Li (Chairman of the NPC from 1987 to 1992) and Hu Qili (the purged member of the Politburo Standing Committee). I do not know any other persons. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.244.152.119 (talk) 05:00, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry for the above comment. Li Peng and Qiao Shi also served as members of the PSC before Tiananmen. In addition, Li Peng was premier from 1987 onward. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.244.152.119 (talk) 05:25, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
