I found a document [1] from 1999 referring to "the late Wang Dongxing". --GwydionM 20:11, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

He is one of the very few pre-Tiananmen era national leaders still alive today (as of Dec. 2008), the others being Wan Li (Chairman of the NPC from 1987 to 1992) and Hu Qili (the purged member of the Politburo Standing Committee).
