Mention ought perhaps to be made of Stace's fallacious attempt at rebuffing determinists. He holds that, while they preach determinism in philosophical circles, they discard it as soon as they are removed from them. In everyday life, he sees determinists presenting choices and holding others accountable for their deeds. To Stace's way of thinking, this is contrary to the spirit of their philosophical doctrine, which it proves specious. Cheers, Robertson-Glasgow (talk) 04:24, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
