Splash Mountain Rethemed
editShould we mention that Splash Mountain would eventually be rethemed as Tiana's Bayou Adventure since both the WDWRR and DRR traveled through there via tunnel? Here are some links: https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2022/07/tianas-bayou-adventure-coming-to-disney-parks-in-late-2024/ & https://allears.net/2022/09/08/first-look-at-tianas-bayou-adventure-ride-replacing-disneys-splash-mountain/ 611fan2001 (talk) 17:01, 10 September 2022 (UTC)
- The appropriate thing to do would be to replace Splash Mountain with Tiana's Bayou Adventure once they're officially reopened as such. Specifically mentioning that the ride is getting rethemed would be too off topic for this article. Jackdude101 talk cont 20:44, 10 September 2022 (UTC)
- Oh, I suppose that'll be the same thing with the WDWRR's new Tron tunnel once this info was added to the Ride experience section in probably around 2023. 611fan2001 (talk) 23:13, 10 September 2022 (UTC)
All New Voice-Over
editI added a brief sentence about how Walt Disney Imagineering added a new voiceover. Should more be written? The blog post I used as a reference goes into detail describing the character who is doing the voiceover. Bdonan (talk) 23:35, 29 December 2022 (UTC)
- That won't be necessary, because it's too confusing for Wikipedia readers to understand. There was some info about the old spiel narrations of Ron Schnieder, Earl Boen, and Darryl Pickett, which were all on the Fandom wiki and discussion forums, which were cited as unreliable sources. This page needs to meet Wikipedia's quality standards. 611fan2001 (talk) 19:20, 30 December 2022 (UTC)
Incident
editSince the train has been operating for around 50 years I'm not convinced that a single argument over a stroller is notable enough to include.©Geni (talk) 01:31, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
- @Geni: Agreed. Jackdude101 talk cont 11:08, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
- I sincerely do apologize for adding that unneeded information. 611fan2001 (talk) 20:27, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
Upgraded Tenders
edit@Jackdude101: I know you have pictures of the rear of the Roy O. Disney and Roger E. Broggie locomotives, specifically focusing on the tenders. Currently, the picture of the tender depicts the original appearance before being overhauled. No pressure, but the next time you go to WDW, do you think you can take a similar picture with the back of the Walter E. Disney and/or Lilly Belle locomotives (or Roger whenever it returns)? It might be a good idea to depict the new back of the locomotives following their upgrades.
Again, no pressure. I think what we have is also good enough. -- Davidng913 (talk) 15:42, 24 January 2024 (UTC)
- I'll keep note of that next time I'm in the park. Jackdude101 talk cont 15:45, 24 January 2024 (UTC)
- I also just realized that Roger has been completely repainted during its overhaul, so it may eventually be time for updated roster pictures; however the current ones are also perfectly fine. Davidng913 (talk) 14:04, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
