Help! edit

Ok. we need a small group of people to do research for this page. I have multiple book sources from the locality (i happen to live a couple of hundred yards from wallsuches) I have started adding a history for the area, but is yet unfinished. Please acknowledge if you ar able to help on this page. Wuku (talk) 10:06, 14 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Lancashire edit

Who ever keeps removing my edit which says wallsuches is within the Historic County of Lancashire, please stop. wallsuches still is and always will be in the historic county of Lancashire so stop keep putting until 1974 after it,this is not correct and not helpful. if you keep removing my edit i will just take the greater manchester part of,one way or another i will get my own back on whoevers removing my edits. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.220.2.30 (talk) 19:30, 22 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

This is correct. Apart from the modern building developments, all the history of Wallsuches is relevant to when it was part of Lancashire and so it is correct, accurate and relevant to include the information. Wuku (talk) 12:05, 15 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Picture... that is not walsuches! edit

We need a new picture. The current one is a row of cottages on "walsuches lane" but is not actually part of the walsuches village (the area is currently dominated by "Arcon village") Is anyone able to get a picture? i have seen suitable pictures on the net, but i am not a buff on copyright laws. help please Wuku (talk) 10:10, 14 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Bleachworks edit

whilst on the internet, I found articles which indicate the Wallsuches' bleachworks was the first chemical bleachworks in Europe (and therefore likely the world!). Further that 70% of the cotton exported through empire trade routes was bleached or processed in some way through Horwich. If these points turn out to be factual, it is worth including them in the article. Wuku (talk) 12:09, 15 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
