Talk:Wall padding

Wow deletion?

This page is as unbiased of a article as can possibly be written. Please read the "Gym Mats" Page there is an external link to "AK Athletics" that has been there for multiple months and has not been deleted?

The fact that there was a link to a external website, was simply a reference (noted so) to the website that the majority of the information came from.

This is a product that is as common in every gymnasium across America, as a basketball hoop, and does not have a Wikipedia page. My only intention was to give prospective purchasers an idea of what it is they should be looking for in a purchase, as to not get ripped off.

Please again consider what you have flagged. For now we will continue to build the page, with pictures and information.

"We" suggests you are working for the company hence a conflict of interests. Continuing to build this page with your own unreferenced essay on wall padding is not the way wikipedia works. By the way I did follow your "reference" and it was not a source of information for what you have provided here but rather a link to a specific company that does wall padding. No need to suggest, you are correct I actually am the owner of the company. If it is a matter of removing the external link, by all means... However it is slightly offensive to refer to my work as unreferenced. The company I am the owner of, is actually the oldest privately owned manufacturer of this product in America. There is no book written on the product. I know you are a contributor, and the basis of your contribution is the work you have done. Therefore I don't see a difference between our contributions, since this is the work I do.

I will however reference the standards in the article, if this helps. —Preceding unsigned comment added by SilasRobertM (talkcontribs) 19:37, 18 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
