Reggae Flavor edit
The singer of Smash Mouth uses a slurry voice as he sings the song, and it reminds me a lot of the way reggae is sung. I do believe this detail should be added when the page is expanded in future edits.

Only Swan's Splashdown? edit
Is there really only a Swan's Splashdown influence to be heard in this song? I think it sounds uncannily like Mama Told Me Not to Come in the version by Three Dog Night, maybe with a little hint of Hello, I Love You by The Doors. --87.154.17.37 (talk) 21:25, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
