Relatives edit
"Relatives who came to the hearing expressed outrage that they were not made aware of previous parole hearings and that Tony Ng was so close to possible release because of it."
Since the paragraph discusses Tony Ng and makes no mention of the victims, the natural assumption must be that it's the relatives of Tony Ng which are referred to, rather than relatives of the victims. But why would his relatives be outraged that he was close to release? Unfree (talk) 13:45, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
@Unfree: I have added "of the victims" to the phrase to clarify it is the relatives of the victims testifying at the parole hearings, not Tony Ng's relatives. Cheers, Mliu92 (talk) 16:16, 21 March 2019 (UTC)
Where's the topic? edit
There is almost nothing on the topic of article, the massacre. No background, no details, on the event. It jumps from Introduction to Aftermath. Boneyard90 (talk) 15:40, 25 August 2012 (UTC)
@Boneyard90: I have added more background and event details based on contemporary coverage and trial documents. Cheers, Mliu92 (talk) 16:16, 21 March 2019 (UTC)
Move discussion in progress edit
There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Rock Springs massacre which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 04:58, 17 November 2014 (UTC)
Louisa Hotel edit
Roughly a quarter of the article is about the Louisa Hotel building, and with the recent restoration of that building there is a lot more to add about the building (including the discovery of murals from when the basement was a speakeasy during Prohibition). I think we should split the building and the massacre into two separate articles. Does anyone object? - Jmabel | Talk 01:01, 26 April 2022 (UTC)
