Megafauna edit
I would dispute the inclusion of megafauna as inspiration for the Wagyl. It seems a bit irreverent. Fred.e 13:17, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
- Why Fred, the megafauna show up inAboriginal stories right across Australia. Wanambee was the name of the Rainbow serpent at the site where it was first discovered. Its rainbow colouration seems to have been a distinctive camouflage colouration for a riverine ambush predator who lived in water bodies.

If this is the Noongar name for the Rainbow Serpent:
- Does it deserve its own separate article
- Could it be made more explicit in the first sentence

Diamond Backed Python edit
I was also under the impression that the carpet python, as in the Bibbulmun symbol was known as the land (as distinct from the water) Waugl. 120.149.52.145 (talk) 03:23, 2 December 2023 (UTC)
