Uranquinty edit

Congratulations to whoever accused me of being a vandal for changing the next station to The Rock, as Uranquinty has been closed since the 1990s (see [1]). Why is Junee listed as the next up station?? That should have BOMEN as the next station as there is still a building there!! Somebody in the WWW (talk) 05:30, 4 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • Hi there Somebody in the WWW - (whilst it wasn't my edit) .... please check again because I don't think anyone accused you of being a vandal with regards this point, rather your edit was reverted. It is an easy mistake to make for other editors in Wagga Wagga (and Bidgee the editor who reverted you is from there) - but for what it's worth - you are quite correct Uranquinty is just another building (and not much of one anymore) and the article should IMO opinion reflect The Rock as the next station.--VS talk 06:31, 4 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
    • PS I do note however that despite the detail on the countrylink timetables, as a previous frequent traveller on the XPT to Melbourne the train did stop upon request as late as about 5 years ago.--VS talk 06:33, 4 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
      • I never accused you of vandalism. Bomen Railway platform is closed (Will not stop there if requested), Uranquinty (Yes station is closed but platform isn't) is still used and on request which The Rock is also a on request stop. Bidgee (talk) 07:39, 4 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
