I suggest keeping this page for the following reasons: 1. WaferTech is the largest pure-play foundry in the United States. 2. It is one of the largest employers in Clark County, Washington. 3. - Is there coverage in reliable, third party sources? Has the company done anything to satisfy WP:CORP? One doesn't get that impression from reading the article as it stands. Also, how can a company be a "pure play" (stock market term) when it's privately held? Who out there can "play" it? Deranged bulbasaur 07:04, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

A "pure-play foundry" simply means the it is a semiconductor fabrication plant that manufactures IC solely for OEMs. It does not have anything to do with being a public/private company. Samsung for example manufactures wafers on a contract basis, but is not a pure-play foundry since it also makes chips for its own products. I have attached a couple of links and would be happy to expand further including incorporating it to the main article if necessary. Feedback on what you are looking for would be welcome. Rms1
