Article Now A Redirect Page, Info Needed For Article: WFME-TV

edit

Okay, Since There Is No Infomation About WFME-TV Channel 66 (Owned By Family Radio), I'm Making It A Redirect Page To The Station's Owner's Wikipedia Page. Any Infomation About WFME, And Its Entirety, Should Be Made To The WFME-TV Article, Make Sure You Remove The Redirect Text Before Adding Info Into The Article!

UPDATE ON ARTICLE, NO LONGER A REDIRECT PAGE:

edit

Okay, I've Got Some Dirt On WFME-TV's Info. But I Still Need More Info, For Now, It's A Stub. And For Anyone Who Has The Old WFME-TV 66 Logo, And One That Does Not Have TV Lines Or Anything Like That, Please Upload It And Add It To The Page With Some Station Info (Like The Radio Station Infoboxes). And Any History Behind WFME-TV, Please Add It To The Article.

Thank You!

Fair use rationale for Image:WFME ID 2006.jpg

edit

Image:WFME ID 2006.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Simulcast of WFME-FM on 66.2

edit

Can anyone confirm whether or not WFME-TV is still simulcasting its former sister station WFME-FM on Channel 66.2? and if not it should be removed. IMHO I would doubt that the television station which is licensed as not-profit can simulcast a commercial station, in this case currently 94.7 now under the ownership and auspice of Cumulus Media is simulcasting its sister station 95.5 WPLJ. MHz WorldView

edit

Earlier tonight, MHz WorldView took over the programming of this station. I have made multiple changes to the page to reflect the changes. I have reviewed the FCC records as of the time-stamp of this post and despite the fact that MHz WorldView and Family Stations has announced a call-sign change to WNYJ, and that the WNYJ call-sign is reflected in the PSIP and there has been at least one on-air reference, the official record still reflects this station as WFME-TV. Accordingly, I have left all references to WFME-TV in the present-tense except for the PSIP. When the call-sign changes, I or others should modify the page to reflect the new call-sign.

If you disagree with anything I have changed here, please discuss it here first before reverting it. I am new around here. Thank you. 70.111.147.221 (talk) 06:10, 1 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

WNYJ going off the air / aka FCC Spectrum Auction

edit

According to the recently released results for the FCC Spectrum auction (see here) Family Stations Inc. the owners of WNYJ will receive $120,974,061 for their channel spectrum and the station will go off-the-air. Does anyone know if WNYJ will move to a shared sub-digital channel on another station which is what WNBC is doing with sister station WNJU and if so is there a timeline when the station will official sign off the air?
