... that within two months in 1979, WMEB-FM, the radio station at the University of Maine, held an 86-hour radiothon to raise operating funds and a 100-hour broadcast to benefit Cambodians? 5x expanded by Sammi Brie (talk). Self-nominated at 06:51, 19 May 2021 (UTC).
- Long enough (4650 characters), new enough (5x expanded on 19 May), QPQ is done. I prefer ALT1, perhaps linked to Electromagnetic interference (disclaimer: I work on radio frequency interference in my day job), but the main hook would also be OK if shortened a bit (is 'the radio station at the' needed?) and 'benefit Cambodians' is linked to explain it. The article is referenced inline, but it really needs to have more than one section - @Sammi Brie: could you try tweaking the hooks and adding sections to the article, please? Thanks. - I've added some subheaders which should help break up the history section a bit. Here's an alternate cut of ALT0, Mike Peel: Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 19:07, 31 May 2021 (UTC)
- ALT0a: ... that within two months in 1979, WMEB-FM at the University of Maine held an 86-hour radiothon to raise operating funds and a 100-hour broadcast to benefit Cambodians?
- That looks fine now, approved with either ALT1 or ALT0a. Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 19:35, 31 May 2021 (UTC)
