Citations edit

For the record, as someone VERY familiar with WKSC-FM's history, all points in the article that are noted as "citation needed" are indeed correct. Many of the points that are noted as "citation needed" are, in fact, fairly common knowledge about the radio station to those that are employed around the industry.

I'm not sure who wrote the above post because there was no signature, however, hers's one source.. http://www.scottchilders.com/timecapsule/TC3.htm --KDSRRGurl (talk) 11:08, 24 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Kiss1035newlogo.PNG edit

Image:Kiss1035newlogo.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 10:53, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Competitors edit

I modified the Competitors section, which formerly read: "WKSC competes with Rhythmic Top 40 WBBM B96, and all the Spanish and hispanic themed stations in the Chicago market."

As someone familiar with the Chicago radio marketplace, WKSC targets Adults 18-34 with a secondary demographic of Adults 18-49 as well as Teens 12-17.

B96 shares these demos. However, not all Spanish and hispanic formats follow these same demographics, such as WPPN, El Pasion which targets females 25-54 or La Tremenda, Hispanic News Talk targets Adults 25+ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.72.100.211 (talk) 01:48, 27 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Drex in the Morning edit

I know the morning show is done, and is likely to never come back, but is it possible we could create a stand-alone page for it? I think it's worthy of one, and has enough significance to stand a page or two. 75.57.190.168 (talk) 17:23, 10 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

I think you might be able to come up with a decent article, sure. They received a fair amount of press coverage in third party, reliable, sources. They were deemed notable enough by Clear Channel to be given their own channel on iHeartRadio. StrikerforceTalk Review me! 19:03, 10 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
