New newscast
editThere's supposedly a new newscast that WAKA will host on the local CW network. Someone might want to add information about this.
Ratings
editIt might also be nice to have some more detailed rating information. Living in Montgomery myself, I know that WSFA leads the way by an amazingly huge majority. That's not necessarily clear here, though. Cs92 00:40, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
Regarding ratings, I am looking at a recent rating book and there is really not a big difference between WAKA and WSFA. WSFA seems to do better on most (not all) newscasts and WAKA seems to do better on most (not all) other programming. The other stations in the market don't look to be a threat. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.186.254.241 (talk) 16:11, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

WAKA Channel 8 Building History
editHello Wikipedia Users and Admins! I was thinking about adding a section on History of where Waka was located. But I am not sure if the page needs that since an Admin might revert the edits to maintain the Wikipedia Terms of Service and rules. Just Asking just in case. :) The Selma building was torn down in the early 2000s and As of Mid June 2024, The former Waka building on Eastern Blvd in Montgomery is in the process of being torn down due to the property being purchased by Stivers Ford. The building cost $200,000 to be torn down. The former location my guess is that the Waka building is becoming Quick Lane to replace the one at the dealership. Thanks for reading! Have a wonderful day :D -KingKaosUnkged (legoweatherboy)
I might not be editing the Talk Page correctly since I have not edit a Talk page in over 5 years. Legoweatherboy (talk) 04:33, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
