Menzhinsky background edit

Menzhinsky was of Polish background, but his family was russified. He was not a "Polish" noble, his family actually held a Russian noble title. Also, the spelling of his name would have been Russian, since he was born in St. Petersburg, and thus; at no point would he have spelled his name in Polish. Again, he was of Polish background, but in all practical matters that's where his connection to the ethnicity ended. --89.64.208.222 (talk) 01:50, 25 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
