These two pages are too short to deserve separate disambiguations. Vvedensky (surname) has only one extant article as of December 2007. Skomorokh incite 19:44, 17 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose. Name lists should be kept separate from dabs whenever possible and/or practical. In my opinion, the list is long enough to deserve its own page, and the fact that all links but one are red is irrelevant (as long as those names are valid, of course).—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 16:01, 18 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose. The guideline WP:D, under "Partial title matches", says "Only add links to articles that could use essentially the same title as the disambiguated term. Disambiguation pages are not search indices". In Wikipedia, we do not assign bio articles to a surname, but to the given name/surname together. Per WP:MOSDAB under "Given names or surnames", longer lists of names should be moved to Vvedensky (surname). Five or more names is the rule of thumb for "longer lists" used by many editors who clean up disambig pages. I will remove the merge tag, as the guidelines are perfectly clear (but I don't blame an editor for trying to clean up or improve WP without reading though all the guidelines).
